Ultra cute Hello Kitty Pasta that can be easily found in leading supermarkets!
For $4.50 a pack, it gave me endless happiness just by taking it off the shelves and bringing it home and even getting my hands on to make lunch for myself
Just when I was checking the fridge to see what I can use to make the sauce,
I also realised I have zero experience cooking pasta and absolutely no idea what to do with it
So I attempted reading instructions behind the pack and googling on different recipes
Which are ALL TOO COMPLICATED
My creativity tells me that I can make lunch for myself within the shortest time by going through ‘loopholes’
Before I embark on this, I was chatting in a group chat with Arisa, Shanise and Weiqi
Seems like there’s very little faith that my pasta will turn out edible and that’s because of…
My Track Record
With my friends & myself included, mocking at my attempt to toast plain bread
resulting in disastrous burnt pieces
I thought I should be given a second chance and when I sent the photo of my completed Hello Kitty Pasta to R…….
Not a single word of praise but
“WRU NOW? WHICH FIRE STATION?”
really?
– roll eyes –
Anyway, here’s HOW I DID IT!
Using just 1/3 of the packet – there’s 5 different designs of pasta jumbled up – good enough for one serving
Boil them for 9 to 10 minutes
I used agar-a-tion so I just kept watching the pot…
10 minutes passed, drained the water and placed the boiled pasta on the serving plate
Using half the box of cherry tomatoes,
Cut them into quarters
Mashed them up a lil
With a teaspoon of olive oil, heat up the cherry tomatoes
The lazy bum in me wanted more flavour in the shortest way possible
Instead of adding onions and other spices, I plonked in ….
SALSA!!!!!!!!!!!!
About 4 tablespoons of salsa and that really sealed the deal!
I’m quite glad nothing got burnt in the midst of this
and this was REALLY YUMMY
Quick Fix and Love how cute my food turn out to be!
