Preparing for the Winter Trip

Guess what’s in my beauty pack?

IMG_3923

Skincerity!!!
The most important part of my ritual for a hydrated skin in this dry and crushed winter
My nightly overnight sleeping mask!
Arimino Hair Wax
The one hair styling wax I can’t live without…
Body Shop Body Butter
I literally bathed in it.. soaking myself up in butter
Fancl Cleaning Oil
Make up remover
Neutrogena Facial scrub
That’s not what I use on a daily basis, out of convenience, I snugged it in
SunSilk Hair Serum
The weather untamed my hair
Gotta make it manageable again with the serum!

2 dozens of heat packs!
I know… It’s just too crazy but they came in very handy
I used an average of 3 packs a day~

NEW YEAR’S EVE
31st December 2013

IMG_4002

After a thorough search online
knowing the places to go for a great NYE party,
I settled for 798 Space

It’s supposed to be the PARTY of THE YEAR
where 2000 admission tickets have been sold!
798 Space is situated in the art district where in daylight, the warehouse exhibits art pieces
& just for this special day, the organizers turned it into a massive club!

Caught up with a Uni Mate Mr KB
who I always happen to bump into whenever I’m in China,
not that common in Singapore though

DSC_0282

The mood was impressive!

check out my video of the CountDown

DSC_0281

This was the crazy mass of people trying their best to reach the lady sitting behind a box
so that they can deposit their jackets
Seriously…. just hold your coats!
What’s wrong with that? over wasting time queuing up and fighting just to get them deposited
knowing that you have to go through that very same brainless process to get your jacket back
#neverunderstoodwhy

The party crowd was amazing!
Music was so good, drove everyone to their suave dance moves!

Last Day in Beijing

IMG_20140101_155453

After the year end party,
I crashed in bed for half the day~
waking up restless
decided to catch a movie!

I was thrilled to be walking into the new APM mall in Beijing City
but the display screen of the movie timings totally didn’t fit the modern decor of the mall
It’s still an old school system and thank god I read Chinese very well!
@ the ticket counter, where the snaking queue was totally not moving,
it’s probably a common sight to see men nudging you and checking if you wanna skip the queue and purchase your movie tickets from them instead
at a premium of course..

The last place to visit before boarding the plane back to Singapore:
Dong Hua Men Mei Shi Fang Ye Shi

The Food Street Night Market
