Review: Buttercake n Cream

IMG_5600

Stumbled upon this place in Sunset Way through the amazing Facebook
From time to time, Buttercake n Cream posts specials like this PaddlePop truffle cake above
Since it was only available for a week, I decided to pop by to try

IMG_5601

The Paddlepop top was genuine ice cream
I guessed it was just cream, but it surprised me

The soft biscotti below was a great match in terms of taste

Served with heart

The other Special item I had to try was the Rainbow drink
Due to poor lighting, the beautiful layers of colors was not being captured well

IMG_5589
Sprite-based with Paddlepop-colorings
and a scoop of vanilla ice cream
The colorful marshmallows added much love to the presentation
We definitely can’t expect this drink to be really good
It was acceptable and fun to consume
but doesn’t taste ideal

I really loved how their cakes are presented
Every dish was decorated in details

IMG_5585

This is probably one of the rainbow cakes I’ve ever had that had more cream than cake

IMG_5584

Amazingly pretty to look @
But I would prefer to have more of the butter cake

IMG_5605

Prepared in a circular manner, made it easy to grab a bit

IMG_5583

My friends and I also ordered a normal divine Chocolate cake

IMG_5604

Hazelnut Chocolate it is
Sometimes, normality brings comfort in its special way
After trying out unique flavors, it’s especially lovely to have that familiar taste again!

I would say if you’re having a bad day, Buttercake n Cream will cheer you up with those insanely pretty cakes
That was exactly what happened to me!
=)
