Dip Dye Hair Color Review With Show Image Eunos

And this was how it all started @ Show Image
For the last couple of months, I’ve had so much fun with my hair using Vegan Hair Dyes from Manic Panic that I changed the tones of the colors every 2 to 3 weeks
The changes involve attempts at bleaching as well
(please do not try these at home)

hair colors

From the shocking blue to a dark pink to deep violet
I loved every single one of it
So with 3 times bleaches and 6 times of coloring within 2 months
You’d think my hair is definitely going to be fried when I wanted light colors again
– that’s really what I thought as well… like ok, i have a 50-50 confidence interval that my hair can survive another bleach but I’m still going to try –

Thanks to Tiffany’s recommendation
I seeked professional help in having a lighter color once again~

After 3 weeks of purple, I handed over my important crown to
Creative Director Wingz Lok

He very carefully analyzed my hair condition and I can tell he was in distress
This must have gone through his head: “WHAT DID THIS WOMAN DO TO HER HAIR?”
– yea –

We discussed things for a good 10 to 15 minutes on:
– what do I wish to achieve eventually for the color
– a thorough explanation on the products used and the progress
– managing my expectations on the fact that the outcome of the process might differ from my initial intent coz it very much depend on how ‘successful’ the bleaching process will be

The discussion gave me real confidence in that this dude knows his stuff man!
& he does everything in my interests, keeping in mind all my preferences

You know how you meet stylists who decides for you while you’re the paying customer?
I absolutely hate that
This session is about ME!
I can accept your suggestions, but we have to compromise and arrive at an objective that is closer to my expectations than yours

I’m addicted to colors and this makes me want everything
So what?
Do I really get what I want?

Not yet!

I need to know what are the remaining colors left in my hair after one bleach…

1st Bleach

Extra attention was paid to not touching my scalp

Outcome from 1st Bleach

Paddlepop hair
I wished quietly that I can actually walk out this way
It’s messed up yet beautiful in its own way

& according to Wingz
-in his own words –

“This is every stylists’ nightmare!”

– oops –

Those paddlepop-colors were only at the top
This is how the rest of the hair looks like
Even I felt that this was too messed up
So we went on with the 2nd bleach

2nd Bleach

The pinks were real tough to remove!

Outcome from 2nd Bleach

There’s almost nothing we can do when the pinks remain!
I doubt I want to go for the 3rd bleach
Let’s save it for another time

At this juncture, I was super glad that my hair wasn’t fried
It could still go on!!!!

The very fact that my hair wasn’t fried after so much abuse was the result of OLAPLEX

“Go Blonder. Push the envelope further without compromising the integrity of hair. From the photo shoot to the salon chair, colorists are set free from the fear of damaged hair.

You can use Olaplex as a tool or a new service. The choice is yours. As a tool, use the Olaplex Bond Multiplier No.1 adding it to lightener or color and finish by applying Bond Perfector No.2 after color is rinsed from the hair to dramatically reduce breakage with every color service.

Optimize Olaplex by offering it as a new salon service. Include the professional Hair Perfector No.3 Take Home for your client to use once a week to strengthen hair further or to use as a pre-treatment to a future chemical service. Hair Perfector No.3 Take Home has amazing additional benefits reported by thousands of clients.”

Show Image uses only the good stuff to repair the bonds in my hair during the chemical processes
otherwise, I would never be able to imagine the extent of the real damage

Just because the stubborn pinks refuse to barge
Wingz had to go with the flow and get me some cotton candy pink
which is perfectly fine to me as well!

The blend between pink and grey was a small section of ombre
whisked skillfully into masterpiece

Grey is such a difficult color to master
I’ve come to understand that NOT everyone can get the exact grey they want since the original pigments in our hair determine the small range of the grey spectrum that we can get

At this juncture, the skies outside have changed to dusk
It’s been 4 hours?
yes, I have a lot of patience for this!

I can’t count the number of times I’ve been propping myself on and off this hairwashing bed
sneaking a couple of naps in between

Wheee!! I’m DONE!

The back is a flat grey
making my abused hair look alright ya!
